Hi Guys,

I am following the CFX tutorial Chapter 18: Gas liquid flow in an airlift reactor.

What I set was exactly the same as all the settings in this tutorial. But when I run the def file to solve. The following error keeps coming up.
+--------------------------------------------------------------------+
| ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction.
| Message:
| Floating point exception: Zero divide

+--------------------------------------------------------------------+
| ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction.
| Message:
| Stopped in routine FPX: C_FPX_HANDLER
|

How can I get through this tutorial?

Any suggestion is welcome.

Thanks All!

Cheers

Guozhao

There is something you have missed. All the tutorials have been extensively tested.

I tried again and again. The error is still there. Would you please judge which part I missed based on the error showed?

You could run the .pre file and generate it that way. Then compare the CCL of that .def file to the CCL of the .def file you generated. You might be able to spot the error that way.

Thanks so much. I was thinking the same way when I found the pre file in CFX example folder. But would you please indicate me how to use the pre file in CFX?

Open CFX-Pre and select Session/open session.
