frossi is on a distinguished road
Hi all,
I am running a simulation for a 737 wing like the one shown in the picture.

For the mesh I used:
210,796 nodes
483,672 elements
15 inflation layers, thirst layer height 9e-2 m, growing at a rate of 1.05.
The colored mesh shows the element quality.

For the CFD conditions I used:
air ideal gas
pressure farfield conditons
0 angle of attack
Pressure at 11,000 m
Velocity is Mach 0.74
216 K (Temperature at 11,000 m)

I think that my lift and drag results are too low for a wing of that size. What I get is:
net drag = 3586.2391 N
net lift = 40687.128 N

Can someone explain me what is wrong? Is the mesh not fine enough? or is it the inflation? what should I do to improve the results and what results should I expect?

Thank you very much.
