Mixing plane with implicit averaging (beta feature)
Hi all,
I'm currently running single passage simulation of a transonic turbine. At the stator TE there're strong oblique shock waves travel towards the following blade row; however, since the stator and the rotor are closely spaced the mixing plane seems to reflect the pressure waves coming from upstream. I then run single blade row with an outlet extended downstream, and was able to have a non-reflecting exit BC and get a more physical flow field. I also tried the implicit averaging options but they didn't seem to kill the reflection. The pressure decay option didn't help either. Could anyone advise what'd be a good strategy to reduce the impact of reflection in CFX? Thank you. |
