Problem with Static Pressure Atmosfere

Hello everyone,

first of all, I would like to say thank you for helping the newbe comunity as you do!

I'm here because I have a problem that I could not solve by myself and need some help.

I want to do a static pressure atmosfere sourrounding the geometry that I have so I do this using an encapsulate.

The problem begins in the setup window, I start assigning all the inlets, outlets, opening and walls when I find that all the locations are duplicated. I tried to solve it doing a boolean and substracting my geometry from the encapsulate, but then I cannot select the faces for the Inlets/Outlets.
I also tried substracting the geometry but without deleting it and then putting all the faces from the encapsulate that faces the geometry as Openings but it did not work either.

I would like to ask you for some help.

Thank you,
Jordi.

This sounds like basic geometry and meshing. Have you done the geometry and meshing tutorials? You can find lots of them on the ANSYS customer webpage. They are the best way to start learning ANSYS and CFX.
