Win10 and ANSSYS 17.2

Dear CFX Experts,

I upgraded the ANSYS from 16.0 to 17.2. But still when I try to open Setup, it does not work.
In the previous version, even DM and Mesh did not work, but they work with the upgraded version.
I would appreciate if shares your experiences with me.

Thanks for your time in advance,
Mehdi

Which setup does not work? What is the error message you are getting?

Hi Maxim,

I mean CFX-Setup. It does not respond, I have to close it by the Task Manager after a while.

I guess you mean CFX-Pre?
I would suggest you uninstall everything Ansys related and reinstall 17.2 or 18.0. Maybe something went wrong during the previous install.
I use Win7 myself but I haven't heard of problems with Windows 10

ANSYS 17.2 and 18.0 are both fully supported on Windows 10. This means it has been extensively tested and confirmed to work on this OS. So if you can't get it to work there is likely to be something wrong with the way you set it up.

I agree with Maxim - remove it and reinstall it from scratch.
