Near-wall grid/meshing problems with CFX-Build

Hi All,
I am having problems with Build when I want to mesh a surface using mesh seeds with very fine density at a wall boundary. Build meshes the surface, but with the first element out from the wall having no thickness - i.e. the first nodes out from the wall have collapsed down to the wall and subsequently the second element out from the wall is twice as thick as it should be. Has anyone got any suggestions/remedies? Thanks in advance, Mark. |

Hi Mark,
Check your equivalencing tolerance. It might be too tight which is collapsing the small elements. Glenn |
