Hello dear community,

i want to save the temperature of particles in a free jet into a .txt file to certain condition. To do this i want to create a Fortran particle user routine, which get temperature of particle to certain time as an argument and save this to a txt file. But i don't know where to implement this routine in my model.

Best regards

Would it be easier to do this in CFD-Post in post processing?

Your are right, but my longterm aim is to set the particle temperature with the user routine during the simulation by considering the conductive heat transfer in particle and the melting and vaporization enthalpy (latent heat). To do this i will simulate the temperature distribution (with a finite difference method in the fortran code) in particle during the simulation process and implement the latent heats.

Best regards

There are example fortran for accessing particles in the CFX documentation - I think it is in reference guide.

I couldn't find a way to get an access to the variables in cfx for setting up the arguments and results in fortran. Where can i find a good description?
