I am trying to simulate a turbine blade in Fluid Flow (CFX). After importing the iges file into geometry and doing the mesh and then finally when I run the simulation after the setup. I get the following error : -
'Your user ID xxxxxxxxxx.... appears to be longer than 15 characters. This may cause rsh and therefore the Ansys CFX parallel code to fail on many platforms' And then immediately, I get the following message :- 'The ANSYS CFX solver has terminated without writing a results file. Command on host desktop exited with return code 0.' Please help me with this as I don't know how to set or change username.. |

It is not a problem with CFX; it is a limitation with rsh.
You'll need to talk to your IT people about changing your username, or increasing the character limit for user ids on your system. |
