.lck.lck files freezing solution

We're having an issue where CFX just started freezing up this week at certain points in the solution process. Looking into the .dir we started seeing that the lock files were getting locked, thus a filename.ini.lck.lck was created. Manually deleting this unfroze things. Same thing with the .def and .res files.

Windows 7 with a lot of IT security such as mcafee and avecto. This happens on all our workstations now with both 17.1 and 17.2.

Anyone else ever see this?

Use the task manager to see if the virus checker is hammering CFX. If so then add CFX as an exception to the virus checker.

Not exactly sure how to do what you're saying, but I'll check with IT tomorrow. I think I really need to find if McAfee or Avecto is creating the .lck.lck file preventing the deletion of the .lck file, or if the collection of CFX programs are not properly white listed by the security programs. We lost admin rights about 6 months ago, and things have been frustrating ever since.

So apparently IT Security team fixed the problem, but they're so secretive no one said what they did or even if they did. My best guess is a bad interaction with the security program, CyberReason.
