Hi

I have an error message,

'you must set the velocity on the patch -three

components are needed'

But I set the Velocity on patch..

Here's the part of my fo file...

>>PARTICLE TRANSPORT BOUNDARY CONDITIONS

PATCH NAME 'INLET-2'

DIAMETER DISTRIBUTION TYPE 'UNIFORM IN DIAMETER'

NUMBER OF SIZES 1

NUMBER OF POSITIONS 1

TOTAL MASS FLOW RATE ON PATCH 1.2000E-01

VELOCITY ON PATCH 1.200000E-01

MASS FRACTION1 ON PATCH 1.0000E+00

>>PARTICLES ON PATCH YOU MUST SET THE VELOCITY ON THE PATCH - THREE COMPONENTS ARE NEEDED THE CFX-4 SOLVER HAS BEEN STOPPED BY SUBROUTINE CMDPBC

You will need to set the velocity as a 3-d Vector.

i.e.

VELOCITY ON PATCH U V W.

If you want it in just one direction, you will have to use

VELOCITY ON PATCH U 0 0
