Dear,
I am starting in simulations with turbo machines, I have done some tutorials and a doubt arose in VISTA CPD - BLADE DESIGN, the number of vanes (# blades) in a centrifugal pump rotor have some analytical method to define? For example, the default CPD VIEW is 6 vanes but I believe this value is according to Nq of the pump. Could anyone tell me? Thank you!

Dear, Rodrigo_Eng_Mect

I'm using ANSYS CFX when to design pumps different nq, and i can tell you what the Vista CPD have very smaller functional, i recommend you to use CF Turbo or special books (Gulich Centrifugal Pumps) where you can find recommend how to choose number blade and other general parameters geometry.
