hello, users of CFX5.5:
I wonder if anyone of you can tell me how to simulate a porous body in a open space, such as fence, treebelt or only a single tree? Is it possible to take out this calculation only by changing the boundary condition or wall function ? thanks |

I think you can just state some solid to be a 3D patches of porous.

And introduce a momentum resistency to the flow. You will do a sink of momentum. Pretty easy to do it.
