Multiphase turbomachinery in Ansys CFX

hi there!
I am new here. I am sorry in advance for my English language - i'm not native speaker. My question is: Is it possible to connect multiphase flow - liquid-gas with turbomachinery? I mean use recoil force from flowing water into air at specific angle from rigid body, and check what rpm will that body get?
I will be really grateful for any help.

Hello once again.
Maybe I wasn't clear at first time. I enclose 3D pdf with my conception. There are 2 holes at specific angles that water goes through rigid body. Rest conditions shows 3d PDF. I hope that now everything is understandable and someone can help me.
Thanks in advance.Attachment 56325

Your attachment is unreadable.

But yes, you can get reaction forces from a multiphase flow on a rotor in CFX. Have a look at the tutorial examples as some of them use multiphase flows and rotating machinery.

Thank you, ghorrocks for answer.
I had serach through internet and found nothing special. There was only some post-pro animations with similar subject.
Maybe someone have this kind of tutorial and can share?

Make sure you do the basic tutorials on the ANSYS Customer webpage.

If you do not know the operating speed of the device, then the best approach is to do simple simulations over a range of fixed speeds and get the torque versus speed curve. Then the steady state operating point will where the torque produced by the rotor equals the torque of the load. This is a much simpler approach than rigid body approach where you let the simulation find its own speed.

I found tutorial called Multiphase Flow in a Mixing Vessel. I have files for that case, but I can't open file .geo. According to instruction I should open it be Mesh, but there is no possibility. Anybody knows how to open it?

You should be able to open that in CFX-Pre. Follow the tutorial instructions.

There are many more tutorials on the ANSYS customer webpage. They are the best place to start learning CFX.
