Hi

Is there any way that we can plot the y+ value along our geometry ? When I do a plane and take its contour for y+ in CFD post I can see the value from 0 to 25 but the contour remains grey plane. There its not showing where these values are. So I am not sure where is 25 where is around 0 !! So what is the possiblity ? Also I want to see the log law and z+ values. How can we do these ? Kindly let me know.
I did K-W model and for that y+ have to be less than 1
and for LES WALE model what is the y+ criteria ?

In the tree view at the left, tick the box next to the contour. If this does not help please attach a screenshot.

To create new variables, use the expressions and variables tabs at the top. Create expression first and then create a variable which uses that expression as the formula. There is a tutorial about it here: CFD-Post tutorial - Step 15: Create a Custom Variable and Animate the Display.

Hi
I did it and still it was grey. But when I select the wall option in the contour I can see the y+ along the wall.

By definition, Y+ is only calculated at the wall. That is why you'll only be able to see it in the walls. The plane is gray because there is no Y+ values for the inner cells.
