dear all,

I got this message in cfx 5.4.1 build when i try to mashing.

"Zero length stack generated"

and then I can not write the diffinition file.

But when I run the example such as staticMixer, I don't have this message.

dear all,

I got this message in cfx launcher when i try to run the solver

Hi Ji

The "zero stack length generated" error, is due to 3 sided surfaces which is poorly parameterised and has an edge length of zero.

Go to Geometry > Show > Surface, then highlight all surfaces and apply. Look down the list of surfaces and you will see the problem surfaces have 4 sides but 1 side is zero, therefore 3 sided.

There are 2 methods of solving this, join the problem surface with an adjoining surface to create a large trimmed surface, or re-create the surface as a trimmed surface.

You could also check to see if any of the edges of the problem surfaces are not smaller than the tolerance.
