Dear experts,
could you please help me with USER_GETVAR function in CFX? The function: CALL USER_GETVAR('<VARIABLE_DESCRIPTION>',CRESLT, <pVAR>,CZ,DZ,IZ,LZ,RZ) returns variables for whole domain. Is it possible to get a variable on a boundary of a domain in user subroutine during the computation? Thank you! |

Unfortunately, USER_GETVAR only returns variables for the same locale (group of elements, or vertices) as the original call.
What are you trying to achieve ? |

Opaque, thank you for your reply.
I need to take variable on a certain surface in Fortran subroutine. For example, I need temperature on a wall (coupled heat exchange problem). Is there any way to do this? |
