Dear all,
Hope all are well. I want to ask why isn't there are skin friction coefficient in CFD-Post in CFX? Is there a different version of the same variable with a different name? I want to verify my results with the hand calculations by plotting a chart along the length of pipe for fully developed region in a 3D laminar pipe flow with material water in CFX. Would be extremely grateful for help. Hope to hear from someone soon. Thanks. |

You can find the variable Wall Shear in the CFD-Post.
From there you can compute any definition of skin friction coefficient you are familiar with. |

Thanks a lot for the reply Opaque. Yes I was finally able to draw a chart of skin friction coefficient (SFC) against x axis!
