Read the output (the text file in the right window). It will tell you if the simulation completed and why it completed. The dialog box does not give much information.

Ghorrocks,
The simulaiton takes less than 10 sec and there are no warnings or errors. It is a big domain with 7 million cells so it should take longer. moreover the result file is not written. i have encountered such a problem. kindly give your opinion.

My opinion is that you should read the output file because that is where it tells you why the run was determined to have completed. All the details of what happened are in the output file.

Have you started a partition-only run by mistake?
