Hi !

I've a encountered a problem in finding the area of a cell when using USRTRN

I need to calculate the area of each gridcell in for example the j direction. How do adress this?

So far I've tried the area(Nface,3) command, but I'm, not quite sure that I've done it right.

Hi,
I believe that the easiest way is to create an USER2D patch under your meshing tool. Once you've created this patch you can use IPALL (or IPREC) to extract the data that you want.
Good luck, cfd guy
