Error code...
 

Howdy,

I was trying to run a laminar transient calculation in parallel (using CFX 5.5), when it suddenly stopped and informed me that

An error has occurred in cfx5solve:

The CFX-5 solver exited with return code 1. No results file has been created.

End of solution stage.

I haven't located what these return codes actually mean, so if anyone could help me out, or point me in the right direction, I would be more than grateful.

By the way, this calculation worked fine on one processor.

The return code of 1 simply means that the solver run did not complete normally. A return code of zero means normal completion.

Is there an error message in the output file?
