Initial 3D velocity profiles -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Patrice Jaumouillie Guest Posts: n/a	Hello everybody, In a channel flow 2D modelisation, i use a well know vertical logarithmic profile to initialise the simulation. But now, i want use a 3D modelisation. Do someone know a formula (or a reference article/book/url) for the velocity profiles i could use for the initialisation ? Thank you.
