Outlet -> Inlet How?

Hi!

I could not find in the manual, that how to save a 2D region of a result, and set it as boundary condition for the next problem with CFX-5.5.

Specially, I would like to set an outlet velocity filed result of a previous run as inlet velocity in my present run.

Thanx

Hi Lego,

you can export the data of velocity field on outlet BC to a file in CFX visualize.There is an option called CLOUD INTERPOLATION in expression editor where you can import this data file and apply as inlet velocity BC in the next run. You can find about it in the CFX-basic functions manual(pages 280 - 286). Hope this would help you.
