hi to all
im try to simulate two parallel plate with small distance between them(distance=3 mm)
as picture, upper plate have a Rectangular groove(T shape) on it,and move in teta-direction with 30 m/s speed(Ur=Uz=0 m/s).air inter form top and exit from bottom,
boundary condition:
inlet total pressure=60 bar
exit static pressure=2 bar
upper wall=no slip wall and teta-direction velocity=30 m/s (Ur=Uz=0)
other wall= no slip stationary wall
and rotational periodicity for left and right wall( walls are infinite in teta-direction)
mesh quality is pretty good and max skewness=0.8 and average skewness=0.15
and flow is laminar, isothermal, ideal gas
but.....!!
when i start the solver ,some error occurred(pic 2) and solver stop,
i try change local time scale, automatic time scale, physical time scale but error happen again,
any idea,suggest,reference,would be nice
thank you very much.

Translational periodicity???
Z direction???

Don't you need rotational periodicity and a cylindrical coordinate system?

hi evcelica
thank you for your atention
yes you right and i correct the coordinate system and rotational periodicity in my explain,in fact i use cylindrical coordinate and rotational periodicity and errors happen,
so please have you any idea about it??
