CFX-Analyse: abnormal program termination

Hello,

I work with CFX 4.4 on a Windows 2000 system. I'm trying to work through the application examples. This goes well until I enter CFX-Analyse. I always encounter the same problem: When I click on the CFX-Analyse or Run Analyse button, the program EXCEED 7 opens immediately with the message, saying that the protocol file cannot be created. After clicking OK the EXCEED window closes. After that the CFX-Analyse window opens and either closes down immediately or after I click on any button. In the main CFX window the message "abnormal program termination" appears. This happens although I stick to the user manual.

Can anybody help me?
