Hi

I have a question about CFX 5.5 or 5.5.1:

I have a geometri of different pipes. the pipes are fill with with water. At a given time a large amount of metan is release into the pipe though a valve(50 kg/s), so the metan is compressible and pressed though the pipes and water.

Are CFX 5.5 able to handle this and how ?

Sofar I think only (Water and) Air at STP can be handled in multiphase flow.

Please comment

Regards

Jens
