Hi, Did any one tried to validate CFX / TSACFLOW against external flow (involving transonic mach number range, ONERA WING / TRANSONIC AIRFOIL as given in reference down) http://www.grc.nasa.gov/WWW/wind/valid/validcases.html
I am trying for the same and could not see the match. Please share your experience Thanks Veebs |

Hi Veebs and Bart,
I also have done the same validation analysis. i.e. Onera wing. My results are also not matching with the data given on the website. I did analysis in TASCflow and studied the transonic flow over wing. The code is not able to capture the shock as mentioned in the site. The simulated results look like the analysis done for higher mach no. Veebs have you found the reason for the descrepancy? regards, Sheetal |
