Simulate viscoelastic property of blood in ANSYS... CFX???

Hi ANSYS Team!

I would like to simulate the viscoleastic property of blood, since blood is a non-newtonian fluid with complex properties. In arteries as coronary arteries, the rehology of blood is well defined through the Phan-Thien-Tanner (PTT) model or multi-mode PTT model.

I already have these parameters (for this model) for blood.

Do you know if it is possible to simulate the viscoleastic property of blood through multi-mode PTT or PTT model in ANSYS?

A quick google search suggests the PTT model is a 1-D blood flow model. CFX is a 3D solver. You cannot use a 1D model in CFX.

I think that my question is similar that ami1991 some years ago. I found in a forum here.

The simulations of blood flow are in real arteries at 3D dimension. My question is how to give the properties of blood in cfx... more concretly the properties of PTT model.

I will make the question also in the forum that already exists some years ago that you also participated.
