binary diffusion coeff.

I'm triying to simulate CH4-air combustion ( laminar, finite rate ): I'm searching CH4 o2 CO2 H2O vapor binary diffusion coeff. or hints about the setting of there coeff. thanks andrea

Re: binary diffusion coeff.

You can set the coefficients by using the USEDIF user fortran file. There you set the diffusivity which is the product of the effective binary diffusion coefficient and the density.

You have to calculate the effective binary diffusion coefficient from the gas concentrations and their binary diffusion coefficients. You can see a possible way of doing that in A.F. Mills, 1995, Heat and Mass transfer pp891
