can I avoid that a particle pass through a porous domain?

I am simulating multliple domains with diferent porosity layers.
I want to do that particles doesnt go across one of the layer but I don't know wich of the parameters in ANSYS I should change or configure.

NOTE: I can't define the layer as a solid domain because it is wrong in my model.

Can you just use a source term in this domain (using a subdomain) which sinks the particles? I have not done this myself with particles, but I have with additional variables.

This is a schematic of my case. A and B are porous domains, flow and particles pass through A and B, but I wants that only particles pass through B but flow passes through both.

So can't you use the source term to sink the particles in subdomain A? or not? Like I said I have never done particle tracking, but I have done similar stuff using additional variables.

I think that I must not to do it, but it is possible that I don't understand well how a source term can help me
