Hi, I am currently running my simulation with Ansys CFX but the simulation lab will close by 10pm because it is not a 24hours student lab. I am afraid of loosing my work and want to find out if I can allow it running while I leave or I should pause and save it on the memory stick then proceed with the simulation as I close. Just need some ideas.
Thanks. |

CFX runs fine in the background. But some student labs reboot the machines overnight or do other things to stop stuff running continuously as a security measure. So give it a go and see what happens.
Regardless or what you do, save frequent backup files so if the system does go down you can recover it. |
