Interpolation res-->def

Hi, I have to do some restarts of changed meshes, but if I interpolate the result files ("cfx5interp -def newmesh.def oldmesh.res") and then start the *.def file with the *.res file as "Initial values file" it doesn't works infact the new solution use the old mesh. Please help me!!!

Re: Interpolation res-->def

If you use the interpolation you don't need to specify an initial guess.
Example: cfx5interp -def newmesh.def -res oldmesh.res
The next step is to run with the new mesh: cfx5solve -def newmesh.def
Note that the newmesh.def will get a higher size.
Regards, cfd guy
