Hello,
I have been using CFX for many years, but just came across some odd behaviour, where a new installation of version 18.2 does only work in serial, not in parallel. There is no error message when trying a parallel run, only the output file saying "SOLVER" after partitioning is finished - and it does not proceed any further. I can see the "cfxsolve" occurences (though showing as 32 bit) in the process tree. I have to kill all of these manually to close Workbench and start over. The computer is running Windows 10. |

Do you have a static IP address? Is this a laptop? Are Ethernet connections turned off? Do you have internet connection?

Which MPI are you using? Did you update the MPI software from previous version? Did you try the other MPI (platform vs Intel)?
