Starting with CFX

Hello,

I am interested to learn CFX from the begining. I am Chemical Engineering background student.

Any basic books to learn?? Guidance needed please.

Re: Starting with CFX

We just got CFX 5.6 and I've found the tutorials and on-line documentation to be very useful in getting started.

I would also recommend taking a course or reading up on CFD Theory to really understand what is happening with the code.

Two good books:

Computational Methods for Fluid Dynamics by Ferziger and Peric ISBN 3-540-59434-5

An introduction to CFD-Finite Volume by Versteeg and Malaasekena ISBN 0-582-21884-5
