How to create vorticity expression for interrupt control?
Hi, im running a steady state simulation and i need to set up an interrupt control that involves the vorticity value at a certain point.
The thing is that the method/syntaxis i need to use REQUIRES to write the vorticity as an expression, and not just a monitor point. Specifically i need an expression that gets the value of the vorticity at point (x,y,z) = (0,7,2) (it doesnt need to be EXACTLY that point, could also be the average vorticity of an small sphere around that point, for example) I tried putting a named selection of that node in meshing and creating an expresion as vorticity@Node but it didnt recognized the object"node". I tried the same thing using the mesh element of that position instead of the nearest node, but didnt work either. How can this be done? |
Can you use the CEL expression probe(variable)@monitor point location? See the CFX reference guide for more details.

Thanks, i made it work that way (:
