Heat Exchanger

Has anyone out there sucessfully run a case with two separate, unconnected fluid domains?

I have a situation with two fluid domains separated by a solid domain and am having some difficulties.

Thank you,

Jonathan

By the way, I am using CFX 5.6.

Re: Heat Exchanger

I've finally found my answer. In case anyone else trys this in the future:

You must use 1 fluid domain and 1 solid domain, where the fluid domain was infact made of 2 disconnected parts.

CFX does not allows you to make 2 disconnected fluid domains.

There is an expert parameter "check isolated regions" = f that you must set and the pressure must be specified in each part.

Dear experts,

Please tell me the difference between static temperature and total temperature. I found them while specifying opening boundary conditions.

Thanks.
