Hi all! Could somebody tell me how to convert Autocad geometry .dwg files into .igs files to be imported by CFX. Does Autocad have an option to do it or an additional soft is necessary?. Many thanks. Juan.

This is the way I know. If u have mechdesktop, open the *.dwg file in it and export as IGES file.

You can not get *.iges out of Autocad, one way is to use Microstation to read your Autocad file and then export it as .iges, the other option which I use is Cadfix, you export ACIS out of Autocad, and then Cadfix to get iges. Either way, you need another program to get it out

Many thanks both Buyung and Ogbeni, I'll try these options. My problem seems to be solved.
