Loading State automatically when opening Results

Hi Forum!

Is there a possibility by opening a CFX .res-file to load the already saved state file into this result file, so I dont always have to load it manually? If yes, how?

Thank you in advance!

- If you have Post open with a result and state file loaded, then why don't you just replace the existing results with a new one?
- You can edit the state file in a text editor. There, change the name of the results file with your new results file. Then open post, load the state file and confirm loading the connected results file.

This works when running Post stand alone. I don't know if it works through (Doesn't-)Workbench

No, sorry but you got me wrong...I looking for a way to skip always the "state file loading process", so when I open the result file, the state file gets automatically loaded at the same time...

- When you copy the projects in Workbench, the state file is copied as well. So when open the results file, the state file will be loaded automatically.
- In Post only mode, you cannot do that. But is that too much work? First open the results file and then the state file?
- You can start post from a command line, where it loads the results file, the state file and creates a report automatically. Is that something? You could even write a batch script for it.

Ok, thank you for your help! I was just wondering :)
