2D cavitating hydrofoil
Hello, I'm doing a simulation of a 2D cavitating hydrofoil. The cavitation number "determines" the reference pressure. What I'm curious about is what the normal outlet BC should be. I'm am using Relative static pressure of 0 Pa (advice from a paper). Does anyone here model the outlet in a different way? If yes, then how??
Best regards Therus |
Re: 2D cavitating hydrofoil
hi Normally we use absolute total pressure as an inflow b.c and mass flow at outlet bc so we can change inflow bc to the critical point that lead to cavitaion occured.
