Hiya
I cann't access any of CFX GUI features using VNC remote access. I used VNC remote access to display my UNIX account on my home PC. CFX5 command works though. But as soon as I click pre or post, it dies or freezes. The error message is XLIB extension GLX is missing. Does anybody have idea on that? Your suggestions would be much appreciated |

if you are trying to remote access to unix machines from your windows machines, make sure of the following:
1. You have Exceed or some x-client installed on your machine. If so lauch this program first 2. If Exceed or other X-client products are installed, you will then need to export the disply form your Unix machine to your machine. to do this use the following command export DISPLAY=10.112.3.1:0.0 WHERE 10.112.3.1 is the IP address of your machine Hope this helps |

If you have some X-client software, then only the following thing will work...
# Log on to your unix machine using telnet from your windows machine... This will be the fastest way.. # start your x-client application... # Before trying to open anythig, type the following in the telnet window... export DISPLAY= ipaddress:0.0 note that export and DISPLAY are different words.. |

For Pre and Post to work you need not only Exceed but also Exceed3D(additional product) in my case it works after I installed Exceed3D.
