Hello all.
I'm studing a 3d fuel cell model. I use cfx 4.4 I'm having some problem with porous flow. If I know the permeability value is possible calculate porosity? Using the porous flow model setting porosity how can I guess the body forces value? Thanks Andrea |

The permeability <> porosity conversion is in Perry's Handbook. (I have to look it up because I can never remember it)
The resistance you can get from various references such as Idlechek, or Blevins if it is a "regular" porous material (mesh, screen, etc.). Otherwise you'll need experimental data. Jeff |
