Hexa to CFX4 geo file
 
Hi

Is it possible to generate a CFX4 compatible geometry or a *.geo file using Hexa Mesh in ICEM CFD4.CFX? If so, could anyone elaborate how?

In the current version of CAD2MESH ICEM (version 5) it is.

Many thanks Glenn for the advice. Do you mean the ANSYS ICEM CFD Release 5.0 version by this? Does it mean that we can't generate the CFX4 *.geo file from the ICEM CFD 4.0?

Hi Prash,

You are correct. ANSYS ICEM CFD Release 5.0 can generate CFX4 geo files but ICEM CFD 4.CFX cannot.
