Hi guys
I thought this might be interested to those who will fall to the problem I experienced couple of months a go. If you're using UNIX workstation and want to run CFX5 from your home Window based computer using VNC through DSL or Cable, then this might be helpful to you. Most at times the GUI doesn't work well with VNC. either it'll open but you see the visual your grid or wouldn't run at all. To get everything perfect then except the Solver, run each separately as ff: % cfx5pre -gr mesa or % cfxpost -gr mesa these commands will allow you full access as running it in its normal mode!! good luck!! email me if you've any question or something is not clear to you!! Regards!! |
