Re: hilsch vortex tube

Hi Chai,

Here is a bit of information about a CFX simulation of the Hilsch tube:

..11.1: laminar calculations using CFX code - energy separation due to viscous work* FROEHLINGSDORF, W.; UNGER, H.* Numerical investigations of the compressible flow and the energy separation in the Ranque-Hilsch vortex tube* Int. J. Heat and Mass Transf. 42, 415* 1999. `

This information was found on the page: http://vonkarman.stanford.edu/tsd/pbstuff/pbref/ref99

Unfortunately I have no access to the mentioned simulation. If you succed to get it or any furter information about this tube please let me know, I am also interested in it.

Regrds,

Joseph.
