Dear Sir:
I simulate the multi-species fluid flow and obtain many kinds of species based on mass fraction. I need the volume fraction of species, but don't know how to do? Could you point out what I should do in CFX-post? The other question is that I want to evaulate the volume flow rate through the outlet for different species? What should I do in the CFX-post ? Thanks for your attention. |

y_i = x kg i / kg fluid r_i = x m^3 i / m^3 fluid
so: r_i = x kg_i / kg_fluid * rho kg_fluid/m^3 fluid * 1/rho_i m^3 i / kg_i or volume fraction = mass fraction * fluid density / component density. Just make a new variable in CFX-Post. |
