Simulating scouring of bridge piers in CFX

Hello Guys,
Would you please be kind enough to let me know if I can simulate sand scouring around bridge piers? If CFX can handle this, please provide me some guideline or any good reference. |

You can use coupling of CFX and some DEM code, like RockyDEM or EDEM. But this simulation may be very complex.

CFX does not have a model for deposition of sand, or of scouring. CFX does not appear a good choice of CFD code for this type of model. Try other codes (I think Flow3D has a model for this)
