Hello there

I have number of problems specifying BCs in CFX-5. How do I specify FRACTIONAL MASS FLOW BOUNDARIES in CFX-5 ?

Typical CFX-4 command
:>MASS FLOW BOUNDARIES

>>FLUX

FRACTIONAL MASS FLOW SPECIFIED

FLUXES 0.5 0.5

END

How do I specify AXIS SYMMETRY BOUNDARIES in CFX-5 ?

Thanks for your help.

Kumar

Fractional mass flow is not directly available in CFX-5.

You must create mass flow inlets/outlets and specify the exact amount you want coming in/out. i.e. if you know the total mass flow rate manually divide things up.
