Default CEL and if statements

Hi All,

I am fairly new to CFX and I was wondering if it is possible to use "if" statements in CEL. Basically I would like to be able to alter the time step according to my own criteria (i.e. something like; if a>1.0 then b=2, else, b=3, endif).

Thanks in advance,

Paul.

Hi,

You can use the step function for a simple case where you want to change the values over some fixed ranges of time steps..

Else you can use embedded perl syntax to define a simple "If" loop within the ccl. Simple examples are avaliable in Help or contact your customer support for the same.

Embedded perl will not during the run. User fortran or step functions are the only route here.
