sir i would like to introduce myself iam swarnalatha doing my final year M.TECH (plant design) in NITT. my doing my project in the topic jet mixing. i have to stimulate in cfx. we have created the geometer of my experimental set up. its a cylindercal tank (28cm dia & 28cm height) .a intet pipe with nozzle at 20cm height & outlet at 4cm from bottom contected to a recirculation pump. i have added the tracer at top liquid surface in my experiment .. how to introduce tracer in this cfx model. tracer is Nacl solution.

Hi,

Have a think about what is happening in your flow. A streamline is the path a massless particle would follow in a steady state flow. It does not tell you much about mixing. Using a user variable you can tell where there is no tracer, and the amount of tracer when it is present.
