CEL error in tutorial #20
In tutorial 20, I am getting error while defining boundary condition 'ball". In "Mesh Motion" of boundary detail tab when "displacement y component" is set to dBallNew, it gave following errors
Bad expression value 'dBallNew' detected in parameter 'Displacement Y Component' in object '/FLOW/DOMAIN:checkValve/BOUNDARY:ball/BOUNDARY CONDITIONS/MESH MOTION'. CEL error: Error in setting: "FFlow" via the expression: force_y()@Ball force_y()@: read successfully, and then error found at item: Ball syntax error Initially I created expressions individually. When it did not work i imported ValveFSI_expressions.ccl I got the same error in both cases. Has anyone got the same error? Please help me. Anurag |
Re: CEL error in tutorial #20
Hi,
At the CEL expression, Ball indicates a boundary condition. So the boundary condition has to have exactly that name, Ball (it is case sensitive). For what you wrote I would say that you named the boundary condition as ball (with small b), while in the CEL expression you have Ball (with a capital B). There is a bug in CFX-5.7 related with the moving mesh capability (it was fixed in CFX-5.7.1). So if you are using CFX-5.7 and after you have managed to solve you problem, you get this error in CFX-Solver: "The CFX-5 solver could not be started, or exited with return code 255: No results file has been created", take a look at: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forum/cfx.cgi?read=9065 , and to http://www.cfd-online.com/Forum/cfx.cgi?read=9072 . Good luck. Regards, Rui |
