Concentric Tube Heat Exchanger Analysis

HI. I am a M.E. student at VJTI Mumbai.
I have to carry out heat transfer analysis between two fluids through a solid region using CFX . I have built a simple model of two concentric tubes. Hot fluid flows throught the outer tube whereas cold through the inner. The two fluids are seperated by copper tube . How should I simluate these conditions so that the cold fluid gets heated by the hot fluid through solid copper. Can anyone please guide me. |

Hi,
This type of model is called "conjugate heat transfer" or CHT. There is an example CHT simulation which comes with CFX. Glenn Horrocks |

CFX version 1 can be better option just chk it out
